While the manufacturing cost of an ARM powered TabletPC is around 300 ~ 350 USD for a 10” model and 150 ~ 200 USD for a 7” model, Microsoft reportedly plans to charge tablet manufacturers a huge 90 ~ 100 USD for a Windows 8 ARM Edition.

Korean giant corporation Samsung has just announced that it started manufacturing 4Gb memory chips using 20nm manufacturing technology, on its official website. Remember that you need two such 4 Gb memory chip to have 1 GB of LPDDR2 RAM in you smartphone, as 1 GB (Gigabyte) is equal to 8 Gb (Gigabits).

You’d think that a company fresh out of revealing a new, color, flexible display technology for e-readers would scramble to get such an item out as soon as possible.
